In the event of an accident, customers are required to follow a specific procedure to ensure a smooth claims process. First, you must complete a police report at the designated precinct where the accident occurred. This report is essential for processing your claim. When returning the vehicle, please inform the counter agent about the accident and provide the police report. At this time, customer will also need to complete the payment of the initial deductible amount, which varies depending on the car class you rented.

The refund process may take up to 14 business days to be fully processed. Once your refund is initiated, please note that it may take an additional 5 to 10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account. The timeline can vary based on your financial institution\'s policies.

Clients aged 18 to 24 years old must pay a $24.95 surcharge per rental day. A minimum base rate of $49.95 per day in compact cars, $100.00 per day in SUV and Minivans will be charged for the vehicle. Underage drivers will not be eligible for any upgrades in vehicle classes. All underage drivers and contracts must have purchased CDW insurance from a third party and/or private vehicle insurance that covers a rental vehicle in Puerto Rico of the same value or more. All contracts with underage drivers must have a security deposit of the total of the rental plus $500.00.

All required documents, including your driver\'s license, credit card, and insurance information, must be presented in their original form. If the customer has a temporary driver\'s license, they are also required to present an additional form of identification, such as a passport or passport card, in its original form for verification purposes.

Provides clients with 24-hour roadside assistance. If the vehicle breaks down for any mechanical situation that is not related to an accident customer can contact roadside assistance at 1-787-919-0238. Towing is included in our Roadside Assistance service from the place where the vehicle had the accident to our main location in Carolina, Puerto Rico.

Payment of an additional charge of $5.95 per rental day will allow the rental unit to be driven by up to two (2) additional drivers. Additional drivers will be subject to payment of the surcharges applied to clients ages 18 to 24 years old.

If the client includes this optional service in their rental booking, they are released from liability for any damage caused to the front windshield or 1 tire of the vehicle. This does not include damage to rims or major mechanical breaks caused by negligence or road defects. If this is the case, the deductible that applies to the client is charged.

Clients benefiting from special rates or rates amounting to less than $10.00 per day, must purchase the insurance offered by us. US Residents: We offer Collision Damage Waiver and Supplemental Liability Insurance. The CDW/SLI may be rejected if clients provide valid proof of insurance that covers the full value of the rented vehicle and the vehicle age is 5 years to the current date, as well as personal liability in the amount required by our company. A client’s insurance card and/or policy declaration page specifying that the corresponding coverage is provided and showing the applicable deductible, constitutes valid proof of client’s insurance and may be provided to our location via fax/email. If a client’s insurance coverage is limited to personal liability, he/she must purchase the CDW. Clients with no liability insurance coverage must purchase the SLI coverage offered by us in exchange of $11.95 per rental day, as Puerto Rico law holds renters liable for any and all damages caused by the rental unit in their possession. Our company suggests clients consult their insurance agencies before finalizing travel plans. Non-US residents must purchase CDW/SLI from us. CDW rates: Economy Car through Full-size Car @ $16.95 + TAX / DAY. Mini Vans, SUVs & Trucks @ $19.95 + TAX/ DAY.

Releases the client from responsibility for damage that occurs to the vehicle during the rental. CDW does not cover total losses, rolled over vehicles, flooded vehicles, stolen vehicles, and does not cover the renter if he or she is in breach of the rental contract. Daily rates vary by car class: $16.95 for ECAR/CCAR/ICAR, $17.95 for CFAR/MVAN, and $19.95 for SJAR/SFAR. To utilize the waiver, customers must provide a police report and pay a deductible, which depends on the car class: $500 for ECAR/CCAR/ICAR, $750 for CFAR/MVAN, and $1,000 for SJAR/SFAR.

Is for civil liability or damages to third parties. When the client adds the $11.95 SLI to their car rental, they are automatically exempt from liability in the event of an accident with the vehicle resulting in damage to the property of others and a person. If it is determined that the reason for the accident was due to the client’s negligence, coverage is automatically lost. In the case of underage clients and/or rentals in the Dominican Republic, this insurance is mandatory.

Clients with no liability insurance coverage must purchase the SLI 10/20/10 coverage offered by us in exchange of $11.95 per rental day, as Puerto Rico law holds renters liable for any and all damages caused by the rental unit in their possession. Our company suggests that clients consult their insurance agencies and/or insurance brokers before finalizing travel arrangements. Non-U.S.A. residents must purchase the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) offered by our company.The rental units cannot be taken off of the main island of Puerto Rico without our company's previous authorization. Moreover, clients must take notice of the fact that the CDW does not provide coverage in neighboring islands such as Vieques and Culebra. Clients that transport rental units to Vieques or Culebra must reserve a two-way ferry ticket for the vehicle. Any client that does not return a rental unit to the main island will be charged a $1,000.00 transportation fee.

We accept payment by way of cash, debit cards, traveler’s checks, and credit cards. Nonetheless, only bank account-connected credit cards that are recognized by its POS service provider will be accepted. No pre-paid cards are allowed. VISA Check, VISA, Master Card, AMEX and Discover are all accepted. For all Rentals, a deposit of the total amount of the rental plus USD $250.00 must be put on hold at the beginning of the rental.

The client hereby agrees to pay and/or reimburse to our company, or the appropriate government authorities, all charges due under this Agreement, which may include a reasonable fee that shall not exceed $250.00 to clean the unit if returned substantially less clean than when rented and a flat fee of $250.00 if any cigarette smoke is detected in the rental unit.

Plate Pass or "Auto-expresso" as it is known on the island is recommended for all customers who plan on using highways on the island. The system is toll by plate, there are no cash options. Activation is $10.00 one time fee and $9.95 per day unlimited use.

All rental units must be returned with a full fuel tank. If this requirement is not met, the client will be billed a refueling charge. The amount of this charge will depend on the current market. If the client would like to receive the rental unit with a full tank of fuel, he or she must give advance notice of at least 24 hours.
